You may have already had this problem… You are sure that your ads fall within Facebook’s guidelines, but Facebook keeps disapproving your ads. How can you find out what the problem is?

There are several possible reasons why ads are flagged and it often has nothing to do with the ad itself.

The biggest culprits are:

  • Flagged URL
  • Marked Facebook
  • Flagged AD Account

So if your ads are continually disapproved, it probably means that FB has flagged one of the above. You can then go through the next step plan to determine what the problem is.

Step 1

Create a Super safe advertisement (eg A picture of a tree) and place the original URL underneath. Will it be rejected? Try again without URL. If approved, your domain is probably flagged. You will need to change the URLs. If the ad is now rejected, we will proceed to step 2.

Step 2

The next step is to test the Facebook. You make a copy of the newly created advertisement and post it via another Facebook. If it is approved, your Facebook will probably be flagged. You can submit a support request, but you will probably need to create a new page. Will the ad be rejected again? Then we proceed to step 3.

Step 3

If the advertisement is even rejected from another Facebook, we will have to test if the advertising account is marked. Create a new ad account with new billing information and through steps 1 and/or 2. If these ads are approved, the ad account is likely flagged. You will no longer be able to advertise through this account.
